Bolstered by stints in bands such as the Strawbs, Fairport Convention and Fotheringay, Sandy Denny continued her acclaimed career as a solo artist in 1970. By the time she died in 1978, her repertoire included songs that had been popularized by everyone from Elton John to Linda Ronstadt, and many still consider her Britain's most talented pop-folk singer of all time. Recorded in '77, this date was the 1st of an 11-city tour that presents a portrait of an artist at the peak of her creative power.

コンサートとは全く違う曲順になっているので、我が家ではコンサートの曲順で聞いています マイクが〝アイム・ア・ドリーマー〟のあたまでサンディのヴォーカルを拾っていませんが、〝ゴールド・ダスト〟の次の曲なら合点が行きます ジェリー・ドナヒューの選曲を活かしたオリジナル盤と、実際のコンサートの曲順の２枚組で発売するもの面白いかも知れません
