Everything's Better In The South

Everything's Better in the South was recorded from 2007 through 2009 at Firefly Studios in Haskins, Ohio. The full length album started out as 6 song EP. It was decided to release the first 3songs from the recording sessions as a split EP with their fellow Northwest Ohio friends 'The Dashburns.' While releasing the split EP, The Sanderlings continued working on the remaining songs that would eventually become 'Everything's Better in the South.' There is a variety of sounds and styles present on the album. Rockers 'Oh, Saguaro' and 'Ed Teach' the heavier rock songs, while 'Tight Shirts & Sweater' is more on the indie groove side of the aisle. Tracks like 'Dr. Anne' and 'She's a Waste of Time' show a softer, more refined side. No matter what you like, you will find something on this record that defines your style.
