米国西海岸を拠点に活動する「現代のアウトサイダー・ジャズ」の旗手、サム・ゲンデルとの共作となった『Sam Gendel /Shin Sasakubo』。
Side Aをサム・ゲンデル、Side Bを笹久保伸が演奏し、各面最終曲を共作としたコンセプチュアルな作品で、オリジナル盤は2021年、埼玉県秩父市にある喫茶店""喫茶カルネ""より極僅かリリースされたもの。
今回、喫茶カルネの協力を受け、ゴールドを基調としたミックスカラーヴァイナル仕様に変更、人気イラストレーターますこえり氏によるアートワークをリモデルし、新たな形でリリースします。
