スローテンポで穏やかなソウルナンバーのみで構成されたアルバで、同時期の『ツイストで踊りあかそう』とは好対照をなしている。ちなみに、9曲目はベスト盤“Portrait Of A Legend”に収録されている曲のリレコーディングで、ストリングス入りのアレンジになっている。ブルースペックCDの効果があるのかどうか分からないが、2011年リマスターは極めて良好で、サム・クックの歌の上手さが際立って感じらられる。
