The second CD by Russ Como Jr. is simply titled Pinky's. Like his first release Sweeter Every Time, this CD is full of songs that come straight from the heart. 'Running Back to You' starts things off with a real heavy yet melodic groove and grabs you from the start. Next is the reggae styled 'Be My Girl Everyday'. The title track 'Pinky's' is next and it is one of the most honest love songs that must be heard. One of the most catchy songs on this CD is 'Sangria' which features Geoff Blythe on sax. After one listen you will be singing this one all day. On his second release Russ Como Jr. decided to play acoustic guitar on six of the ten songs. Ron Zabrocki who co-produced the CD with Russ Como Jr. plays the rest of the instruments. Another stand out song is 'Nothing To Care For Anymore' which was recorded with Russ playing it and singing it simultaneously. 'See You In My Dreams' is another catchy one with a ska feel to it. For something a little darker listen to 'Goodbye' which has the feel of a live performance. The super catchy 'Baby Girl Come Back', 'Not Will But When' and the beautiful ballad 'Anymore' close things out and each song has it's own special sound and story. A real treat for anyone who loves songs that come from the heart, are played with real instruments and sung with passion.
