世界初CD化！ スウェーデンの伝説的なピアニストのひとり、ルネ・オファーマンの代表作が世界に先駆けて日本で発売。

1932年12月24日生まれのピアニスト。ベンクト・ハルベルグ、ヤン・ヨハンソンなどと並んでスウェーデンのジャズの歴史を語る上で欠かせない高い実力を持つピアニストだが、これまで代表作がCD化されることが無かったために、日本ではLP愛好家の間で知られる存在であった。この作品は1977年にマッツ・ヴィンディング（b）、エド・シグペン（ds）という当時の北欧最強リズムセクションと録音されたグレン・ミラーに捧げたアルバム。彼の光るセンスとアイデアでピアノ・トリオという小編成により新しい息吹を吹き込むことに成功している。
