I Need A Vacation

Ruddinn's 3rd album 'I need a vacation' is the follow up to '2' that was released in 2008. The new 11 track album took 3 years in the making. On the album Ruddinn collaborates with Heida (Ragnheidur Eiriksdottir from Unun /Hellvar). Heida contributes vocals alongside Ruddinn on 7 songs and sings additionally on her own on further 2. The Soulviper sings on one track, and to seal the album as a genuine Ruddinn album he himself sings solo on the track 'It's you' On the album there are a few helping hands. -Elvar from Hellvar plays bass, as does Gunnar Sigurdsson and Jed Stephens. The album has both indie guitar rock tracks glazed with electronic sounds and synths. There are rock tracks, pop, electro and tracks which blend all elements together to form something different and original. 'I need a vacation' was mixed by Aron Arnarsson, George Kant, Jed Stephens and Oskar Pall Sveinsson. Final album mastering was done by Aron Arnarsson. The physical album is distributed in Iceland by Record Records.
