ラモン・ガンバとBBCフィルハーモニックとのコンビによる、ミクロス・ローザのオーケストラ作品集の第２弾がこのCDです。本盤には、独奏楽器を必要とする楽曲と管弦楽のための作品がそれぞれ２曲ずつ計、４曲収録されています。ガンバは前作でもそうでしたが、なかなか良い演奏をしています。渋い演奏ですが、曲も渋いので、これがまたなかなかマッチして様になっています。２人のソリストも不足ありません。解説書も英語ですが、結構詳しく書かれており、また録音も問題ありません。
