発表当初、本国イギリス制作のジャケットが物議を醸し話題となったロキシー・ミュージックの通算4作目（1974年発表）。そうしたワイセツ問題も格好の話題となり本作は好セールスを記録。シングル”オール・アイ・ウォント”のキャッチーさや、バンドとしてのアンサンブルに磨きがかかったサウンドなどが印象的。プロデュースは前作、次作で起用されたクリス・トーマスではなく、エンジニア上がりのジョン・パンターがバンドとの連名で担当。
