ローリングストーンズレーベルからの初のアルバムとして、１９７１年4月に発売されたマスターピース。英米チャート共に１位を獲得。そして、ブライアン・ジョーンズに変わって加入したミック・テイラーが初めてフル参加したアルバム。何といっても、1曲目につきる。自然と体が、スウィングし始める。アンディ・ウォーホールがデザインしたジッパー付のジャケットも話題を呼んだ。

私にとって、何故か特別思い入れの有るアルバムが無い不思議なバンド。ブリュッセルのブートが一番のお気に入りであったが、しいて最高傑作を選ぶとなれば本作かな。

ＢＩＴＣＨ最高！これはスト−ンズでなきゃ出来ない曲だね。ブラウンシュガ−もいいけど、ビッチの方が上。このビッチとジャンピングジャックフラッシュ、ミッドナイトランブラ−、黒く塗れ、ストリ−トファイティングマンが私のお気に入りです。スト−ンズバイザイ！
