アーバン・ファンクとかガラージ・クラシックなどといった人気ジャンルとは違った次元で、ベタなディスコ・クラシックのリイシューを連発しているgold legionからリッチー・ファミリーが登場。実体のないディスコ・ユニット としての「ディスコは恋の合言葉」から数年、すっかりパーマネントなヴォーカル・グループの体裁をとった今作は、スタッフにヴィレッジ・ピープルのヴィクター・ウィリスを迎え、女性版ヴィレッジ・ピープルを狙った一枚。アメリカでヒットしたのはオープニングの「Put Your Feet〜」でしたが、メドレーの「It’ s A Man’s World」あたりの重量感あるビートはまさに“女ヴィレッジ・ピープル”！さすがに「YMCA」級の強力な曲はないですが、ディスコ・ファンなら手元に置きたい注目盤。
