カナダ・トロント出身でレッスン・ピアニストとして活動するリチャード・ホワイトマンの1996年度の作品。デビュー作は94年発表の『This is Now』。そのほか、ホワイトマンはカナダ最高の女流リード奏者、Jane Bunnettをはじめ Norman Marshall Villeneuve, Neil Swainson, Nick Brignola, Del Dako、the Dave McMurdo Jazz Orchestraと共演。Al Henderson Quartet、 Corry Sobol Sextet、the Del Dako Quartet でレコーディングを経験している。
