Color Me Human

This Tampa, Florida native began touching audiences at the tender age of 6, winning second place in a local talent show. He continued developing his talents through his high school years, singing in the school choir along with other local performances. Reggie continued his studies at Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida, graduating with degrees in Biology and Health and Physical Education. After college, he taught Science for 2 years at Booker T. Washington Jr. High in Tampa. Reggie also served there as assistant basketball coach and head track coach. During that time, he performed at many functions in the Tampa area, and continued to perform when he lived and worked in St. Petersburg, Florida for a brief time. Reggie moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1969, but performed in the area for the first time in 1978 with the church choir at Ben Hill United Methodist Church. This launched an active career of performances for a wide variety of functions in the Atlanta area. One of Reggie's biggest performances was for the Trumpet Awards in 1996. He has shared the stage with luminaries such as Jean Carne, Miles Jaye and the Platters.
