Sydney artist Red Ghost writes simple songs about intricate things. songs of life, love and loss emerge and allow her melodies to transcend. she writes from a perspective of distances; of spaces between lovers and lives and the winding paths that bind small towns to big cities. Red Ghost (aka rosa agostino) spawns a raw, dark and brooding sound that weaves together her influences of blues, folk, jazz and rock. Many havecompared her sound and style to that of pj harvey and cat power. similarities have also been drawn between Mazzy Star, Sarah Blasko and Fiona Apple.
