Contains the classic Red Garland LP Groovy in it's entirety, featuring his wonderful trio with Paul Chambers and Art Taylor. 　名盤として紹介されているアルバムですが特徴の無いビバップ、ハードバップのアルバムで個人的には記憶に残らない、心に響かない、お薦めしないアルバムの１枚です。

子気味のよいピアノの音と静かに聞こえるベースとドラムがほんと心地よく、勝手に体が動いてしまいます。ジャズはあまり馴染みが無いのですが、このアルバムは聴きたくなってたまにかけます。夜これをかけると家の用事でもなんでも楽しくできる気がします。

Ｃジャム・ブルースの1曲ですでにノックアウト。ジャズを知らなくても体がノリノリだ。理屈ぬきで楽しめる名盤です。
