バンドとしての活動が本格始動となった2014年は、2月リリースのミニアルバム「Narcissus」、8月発売のシングル「U-TOPIA（ユートピア）」、12月発売の1st. ONEMAN LIVE DVD『SEED A GARDEN』とリリースを重ね、赤坂BLITZ公演やEX THEATER ROPPONGI公演、そして2度のツアーでは、福岡公演や札幌公演も実現、大好評を博したRayflower。
5周年を迎える2015年の今年、「Rayflower 5th Anniversary “Anthesis at GARDEN”」と称した渋谷公会堂でのLIVEも5/5（火・祝）に決定している彼らの待望のリリース第1弾が決定した。
表題曲「サバイヴノススメ」はBassのIKUOによる疾走感溢れるポップでアッパーなロックチューン！カップリングにはそれぞれVo田澤孝介作曲「哀しみのリフレイン」、Key都啓一作曲「it’s a beautiful day」が収録。どちらもRayflowerの真骨頂を存分に堪能できる楽曲に仕上がっている。
