I'm often told that our music is hard to compare with anyone else's in particular. Our goal is to transport people--rhythmically, harmonically and spiritually--to a different and emotionally exciting soundspace, using forceful rhythms and harmonies, sensuous melodies and expansive arrangements. We use unique instruments--a lot of ethnic percussion in particular--to splash colors all over the sound and hopefully inspire a primordial mood. We come from extensive symphonic, jazz and rock backgrounds and road experience, so we know how to drive a tune. Hopefully that comes out in this recording.
