本作はレディオヘッドが6作目のスタジオ・アルバム『Hail To The Thief』を改めて見つめ直すきっかけとなったライブ・アルバムであり、2003年から2009年にかけてロンドン、アムステルダム、ブエノスアイレス、ダブリンで行われたライブ・パフォーマンスが収録されている。ミックスはベン・バプティ（アデル、ザ・ストロークス、U2）、マスタリングはマット・コルトン（エイフェックス・ツイン、アークティック・モンキーズ、オジー・オズボーン）が手掛けた。
この作品は、2003年作『Hail To The Thief』の楽曲を再構築したスコアを用い、シェイクスピア『Hamlet』を熱狂的にアレンジしたもの。Rolling Stone UKはこの舞台を「ヨークと共作者たちの手腕を何よりもはっきりと示しているのは、この二つの世界がまるで最初から一つだったかのように自然に融合していることだ」と評している。
