R.E.M. Live At The Olympia In 2007, R.E.M. performed a 5-night residency at Dublins Olympia Theatre, as an opportunity to explore new material for their 14th studio album, Accelerate (2008). The resulting tracks, recorded over the course of the residency, cover a wide range digging deep into the bands earliest material, and eschewing the obvious hits. The critically-acclaimed 2-CD album + bonus DVD offers the chance for fans to re-live a wealth of deep cuts that R.E.M. rarely performed over the course of their career.

９０年代はメジャー級。００年代は少し難解な方面に行ってましたかねー。そこで前作のAccelerateで原点回帰。このライブもギター全体のシンプル路線でGoodです！

マニア向けですな。IRS時代を知っている私はかなり楽しみました。 去年リリースされた「アクセレイト」は原点に戻ったアルバムであることがよくわかります。 今後の活動が楽しみです。
