Rock 'n' Soul

Each song on this CD comes from life experiences, 'Sing Your Songs' is dedicated to all those who grab thier instrument ( whatever it may be ) gets up on stage and shares there art with people. One day a friend of mine told me that I had intimacy problems, I thought about it, went home, pretended I was in love and 'If You Have The Love' was born. 'I Feel So Good', is one of the first songs I wrote. 'That's The Way I Am', was inspired by a movie I saw called 'Water Hole # 3. 'This Here Song', I wrote as I was leaving a group of folks that I had gotten close to, and I wanted to leave them something. One day someone said that they would like to hear me play the blues, and I said, 'I'll Play The Blues, But I Ain't Gonna Cry'. ' I'm So Glad To Be Me', I guess I was feeling pretty good about myself when I wrote this one. 'Thinkin' 'Bout The Times', Is just reflecting back on a life well lived. My keyboard player Blaze came up with this great melody and asked if I could put some lyrics to it. He already had named it 'Wisper My Name'. It is looking back at a year of loses. I was staying at a ranch which used to be called French Camp Ranch up in the Sierras. It was established in the 1840's, and the immigrnts from France who were seeking gold stayed there. Needless to say some horrible things occured, people died. Well, one day I was playing my guitar and this song started to flow, The strange ting is that it didn't feel like it was coming from me, It felt like an entity of some sort had entered my body. I said 'Oh no, you have to leave, as soon as this song ends'. SPARRO tWOHAWKS.
