フランス・パリ生まれの作曲家 / ピアニスト、Quentin Sirjacq による日本デビューアルバム。

光の揺らめきを題材にした本作。時に踊るように、果ては慈しむように、ロマンティシズムに溢れた Quentin Sirjacq のピアノの調べが、波のように満ちては引いていく、あまりに美しい「明りの部屋」。そこはかとなく揺らめき合う明りを眺めながら、身を委ねて沈んでしまいたくなるほどに、心の奥底に眠る美意識の湖畔へと誘っていく。ピアニストとして、すでに Fred Frith や Joelle Leandre, William Winant の作品への参加、さらには、James Tenney や Steve Reich, Frederic Rzewski, Jose Maceda の作品にも関わり、作曲家としても、Bruno Bayen, Marion Bernoux, Richard Bean, Jacques Taroni 等と映画やテレビ、ドキュメンタリーの仕事を共にしているというフランスの若き巨匠。
音楽に身を委ねた後に残る、親密な心模様を感じられるような、パリからのささやかな贈り物。
