'Chasing Distance' is the debut release from Houston's own Positive Disturbance, which fuses elements of old school and new hip hop, in addition to the raw energy of using live instruments. Most would compare their sound to bands such as The Roots, Jay Z, Rage Against The Machine, etc., yet they still find a way to differentiate themselves from the rest of the pack. Having opened up for national acts along the way such as Cypress Hill, Bone Thugs N Harmony, DMX, Nappy Roots, etc. The band continues to make moves towards progress, thus earning a name and a reputation for themselves.
