Poppa John 'Bug': Singer/Songwriter Poppa teamed up with his New Jersey friends and they are currently working in the Studio and Showcase circuit. Poppa got his guitar strumming influence from the one and only rhythm master Richie Havens. Alex D'Agnese: Drums Drummer and long time resident of Monmouth County, has played with many Jersey Shore bands. Some include: Blue Plate Specials, The Slippery Smith Band and Gary Cavico. He's currently drumming for Laura Manzo, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter and the Jennifer Jordan Band. Alex's passion for music covers all genres, especially jazz, blues, rock and funk. George Ott: Bassist/Guitarist An in demand bass player, current playing with many Monmouth County local bands and is one of the featured musicians with the Jam Band. Kendall Scott: Keyboards Has been playing both guitar and keyboards from the early age of 7. A steady diet of classical, jazz, rock and pop lead to strong interests in fusion, progressive rock, experimental electronic, and world music. He is a multi instrumentalist, synthesist, and programmer who spent time in the fertile Washington D.C. music scene in the mid 1980's during the fledgling years of MIDI recording, working for famed Dub producer Scientist and Urban Verbs guitarist Robert Goldstein among others. A move to Boston lead to further training in synthesis at Berklee College of Music under Richard Boulanger and David Mash, before relocating to New York for more session work and performances as well as a lengthy series of guitar studies with Bill Connors. Gary Wright a former member of Terra Plane Blues, is an outstanding Arist on his own, but has chosen to PRODUCE these series of Poppa John 'Bug' & the Jam Band recordings for that 'Live' sound. Gary wright is currently Producing,Writting and Performing on the Jersey Shore!!
