Solder The Solution

Coming from the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA, 3 brothers started writing experimental heavy metal since 2005 when they formed PIPEWRENCH by adding a long time friend to play bass. They branded their own sub-genre of heavy metal that can only be described by them as Metal Jelly. Pipewrench takes a hard and heavy approach to a jam band mentality to create original music. Many genres are explored in every song leaving the listener the feeling that they never quite know what to expect next. Every song sounds completely different and unique from the last but with the familiarity that just allows your ears to know that it is Pipewrench when you hear it. They stray away from the Metal formula that is so common in the genre but yet can play just as heavy as any band out there. The vocals and lyrics can warm your heart or give you nightmares depending on the way you interpret them, and at times they just sound evil. There are no taboos untouched in the lyrics and song meanings can range anywhere from things like emotions and circumstances of life to simple things like fishing and building a house. It's all in what the listener wants to hear in the lyrics. Almost every song can be open to interpretation. The self released debut album 'Solder the Solution' as well as their two demo releases were recorded at friends home studio only known now as A Secret Place just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
