ピンク・フロイド「Interstellar Overdrive（邦題：星空のドライブ）」デビュー以前に録音された未発表レア音源を収録したアナログ盤

ピンク・フロイドが1966年、デビュー以前にレコーディングしていた未発表音源「InterstellarOverdrive（邦題：星空のドライブ）」のオリジナル・ヴァージョンを今作にて初めてリリース！サイドBの盤面にレーザーでエッチングが施されている。バンドがEMIと契約する以前に当たる1966年11月31日　ハートフォードシャー州ヘメル・ヘンプステッドにあるThompson Studioにてレコーディングされたおよそ15分に及ぶ大作であり、デヴィッド・ギルモア加入以前の、シド・バレット、ロジャー・ウォーターズ、リチャード・ライト、ニック・メイスンによって演奏されている。（この曲のショート・ヴァージョンはデビュー・アルバム『The Piperat The Gates of Dawn（邦題：夜明けの口笛吹き）に収録されている。』）折りたたみポスター、A6サイズポストカード（デビュー・シングル「Arnold Layne」レコーディング時に撮影されたイメージを使用）を封入。ジャケットの写真は1967年ロンドンBlarney Clubにあったクラブ、“UFO”でのギグで撮影されたもの。“UFO”は短命ではあったが、ピンク・フロイド初期のサイケデリックなショーを実現した場であり、バンドのUKミュージック・シーンにおける確固たるポジションを確立した場といえる。
