El Valiente is the sophomore release from San Antonio's Piata Protest. Building on the conjunto meets punk foundation of their debut album Plethora, the accordion fronted foursome blast off into expansive musical territory with the new set. Produced by Chris Frenchie Smith (Jet, Toadies, Built To Spill) El Valiente accentuates the band's punchy, road tested sound and takes it to another level.
