Chad Pimp C Butler studied Classical Music while in high school and also received a Division 1 rating on a tenor solo at a University Interscholastic League choir competition. But when he was given a Run-DMC album he knew he wanted to be a rapper. After releasing TOO HARD TO SWALLOW in 1992, then critically acclaimed SUPER TIGHT and RIDIN DIRTY which went #2 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart, the duo Underground Kingz (UGK), the group Pimp C and his best friend Bernard Bun B Freeman formed, were bonified Southern rap legends. Following Pimp C's passing and the posthumous release of THE NAKED SOUL OF SWEET JONES, STILL PIMPING will be a sweet memory of an Underground King.
