昨年8月には、インディー・レーベルからポートランド、オレゴンでのSolid Rock教会でのライヴ録音されたlive worshipアルバム「singalong」を自身のサイトにてリリース（フリー・ダウンロード）したところ、06年にリリースされたデビューアルバム『Phil Wickham』もi-tunesクリチャン・チャートにて突如Top25入りするなど、一気に盛り上がりを見せた。今作のリード・シングル"Safe" は、共にツアーを行なったこともあるMercyMeのシンガーBart Millardをフィーチャー。歌詞は詩的で、実直なキリスト教色が出ているが、実直なメロディーととても印象的なヴォーカル・スタイルを持ったアーティスト。John Mayer、Keane、Leeland、Rufus Wainwright、Coldpaly好きにも聴いてもらいたい！！
