'Sussudio' opens the album with the familiar death-by-drums intro, setting the pattern of strong arrangements and attacking vocals. 'Only You Know And I Know' and 'Who Said I Would' explore this territory with the vibrant assistance of the Phoenix Horns, while the massive 'One More Night' provides an elegant contrast. Surely the strongest track, however, is the elegaic 'Long Long Way To Go', which brought tears to a billion pairs of eyes as one of the highlights of Live Aid.

リマスターされたデラックス2CDのレビューです。名盤が非常に良い音で再発して嬉しい限りです。本編のCD1は完璧な名曲揃いの良い作品です。今の時代に聴いても感動出来る最高のメロディばかりです。個人的な感想ですが、CD2はファンの人達は嬉しい選曲なんでしょうか？私は当時多数発表した12inch盤のロングバージョンを纏めて欲しかったです。ライブ音源がほとんどで残念でした。あと、ジャケットはオリジナルのままが良いと思います。CD1のみの評価で☆５。

「世界で一番忙しい男」のソロとしての第３弾作品。全世界でベストセラーとなり、彼の当時の勢いをまざまざと見せつけた１９８０年代を代表するアルバムの一枚であります。グラミー賞最優秀アルバム賞にも輝きました。（１９８５年）迫力あるヴォーカルと曲の良さは勿論健在で素晴らしい仕上がりになっております。（３曲目のスティングとのデュエットは絶品です。）今でもジェネシスと合わせて聴いているお気に入りのアルバムの一枚です。

Phil Collinsのソロでは最高の仕上がりの作品と思います。このアルバムを出した直後当たりが「世界で最も忙しい男」との異名を得ていた頃と記憶しています。自らのDrumもさることながらDarylのGuitarや、Brass陣も冴えて、ノリに乗っていたころの作品だけあって、勢いが並ではありません。最高!!シングル曲もさることながら、”Long Long Way To Go”や、”I Don’t Wanna Know”、”Inside Out”もお気に入りです。ちなみに、StingやPeter Gabrielのコーラスで参加しています。聴いたことのない方、是非聴いてみて下さい。
