Product Description

PETER BLAST / WHITE VOODOO...takes us on a journey through Americana meets British Rock, but don't stop there for this is only the beginning. This is all brand New Peter Blast material that is uniquely crafted and blended to flow as if you were listening to an early 1970's LP. PETER BLAST / WHITE VOODOO kicks off with a taste of loose and reckless guitar weaving RnR, reminiscent to the original NY Dolls, the Rolling Stones, and the Sex Pistols all rolled up into Track One. Peter moves on to more radio friendly choice cuts, complete with melodies and sing along hooks, before stirring up the pot with Snaky Blues, Classic Rock, and Sixties R&B with a twist. Now add in the spice of an up tempo Tex-Mex Rocker that will have you swaying away with the night, front porch Country Blues, a bit of Edgy Powerhouse Pop, Adult Contemporary, and back full circle with more Blues Based Rock! PETER BLAST / WHITE VOODOO serves up a full plate and should be listened to from beginning to the end to fully capture and appreciate the uniqueness and diversity of the true Peter Blast sound. It is, on the contrary, the summa theologica contemporary hard rock 'made in USA'. A remarkable new album! No doubt about it. And while you are there do the names of the guests present. One to read the notes of the credit is a heart attack. Neither more nor less ... In short, 'welcome to the paradise of hard rock'! Who is Peter Blast? Our veteran of the American hard rock scene has been in business since the seventies when in 1978 he founded a punk rock group called Degeneration. Group who had the merit of presenting for the first time the punk in Las Vegas. Among other things, at that time he played with Johnny Thunders and Stiv Bators of The Dead Boys! In the next decade turned the length and breadth of the States with the Chicago group The Blast Factory. His is a rather substantial discography that now spans several decades. In 2006 he released an anthology titled 'Peter Blast Pure Organic Junk'. Two years later it was the turn of 'A Plush House ... with a Monkey on a String.' Here, too, the album sees hosted the top names. Among other things, performs a cover of Johnny Thunders 'Dead or Alive'. Peter Blast of experience. Experience that you will immediately notice the first song on the album. 'In This God Forsaken Place' is a song wonderful. A groove that will not tell you. Guitar playing at it's best A harmonic line direct and persuasive. And then the voice of Peter Blast. The album is so. At the highest levels. None of t
