A Scuttled Bender in a Watery Closet is a celebration of the seven years, 13 releases, experimentation, and insanity known as Pele. Featuring over two hours of previously hard-to-find music from nine different labels in the U.S. and Japan. The extremely detailed packaging includes 24-page full color book in digipack with pictures from every era of Pele, comprehensive band chronology, drunken tour diary, and track information. Known for their blistering national and international live performances, Pele announced their 2004 tour would be their last. Since then, the core members have been playing as Collections of Colonies of Bees and will be releasing a collaboration with Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) on Jagjaguwar.
