Helt Borte

2011 album from the Electronic duo. In the winter of 2007, bonding over a mutual respect and admiration for each other's work and love for old Synth music, Prog Rock, and Ambient music, Rune Lindb'k (who has remixed tracks for Lindstrom, Idjut Boys and the Knife) and Cato Farstad hunkered down in Lindb'k's grandmother's house in Vard to work on music together... and Pechenga was born. Surrounded by the dark of the season, the flickering northern lights, cold storms and heavy snow, Helt Borte was born in an intense two weeks. They cite Ambient masters Stars of the Lid, Dead Texans, Peter Namlook, Brian Eno, Steve Roach, and Biosphere (Lindb'k's old Troms neighbor) as a massive inspiration in creating this album.
