Guitar Lullabies

Acoustic guitarist Paul Greaver explains in the liner notes to GUITAR LULLABIES that his instrumental pieces have often been praised as being great for relaxing into sleep at night. This spurred the artist to create an album specifically with that goal in mind - fourteen quiet instrumentals that double as lullabies for sleeping, particularly among kids. The song list features a mix of classic early childhood lullabies like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Edelweiss and Rock-A-Bye Baby and songs of ethnic decent, like the Japanese folk tune Sakura or the Celtic piece Song of the Water Kelpie. Greaver's organic guitar playing, which is mostly solo here, comforts the listener with it's mellow warmth and personality. Greaver also keeps things fresh by using arrangements that provide improvisation on the main melodies. Great for children and adults alike!
