Growing up in the 80's Pat-Riot was inspired by many Pop artists such as, Micheal Jackson, Prince,Tears for Fears, Madonna, U2, etc. 'I did not know of Hip Hop at that time it wasn't the force it is now' 'asked in an interview'. As a child being watched by older Cousins, and his Brother who was fans of Rap......., Pat was introduced to RUN DMC,LL Cool J,Public Enemy, Rakim, and many more. With a unique sound combined with a distinctive voice Pat-Riot is one of a kind. Establishing an array of talent he has been compared to 2 Pac with his political views, Eminem; being highly controversial, Snoop for his smooth flow, Nas for his humble character, and acquiring the business savvy of Jay Z. My music is like a big bowl of Gumbo, It has an abundance of mixed flavors. Music is nothing, but your feelings embodied with sound, so i incorporate 1000% of my emotions in it. From everyday current events, frustration down to feeling good dancing in the club around beautiful Woman. My favorites though are hyped up explosive beats with hooks that can start a RIOT!!!
