1992年に発表のオリジナル作品に、未発表テイクを追加した2枚組アルバム。 ソロプロジェクトながら、PMGメンバーはじめ、Nana Vasconcelos、矢野顕子さん、Will Lee、Charlie Haden やDanny Gottlieb、そして兄Mike Methenyも参加。 参加ミュージシャンのチカラもあり壮大でバラエティ豊かな曲が並ぶ。 個人的には、8曲目「Antonia」のToots Thielemans のハーモニカは感動で震えます。 オーケストラの素晴らしい演奏も相まって、パット・メセニーのひとつの集大成とも言えるアルバム。

Truth Will Always Be. この一曲が、このアルバムのすべてを表現しているかもしれない。 それにしてもオープニングからエンデイングまで高い完成度だ。 斯界の求道者は、優しくそして限りなく美しい。
