1967年にニューヨークで結成された THE PAPER GARDEN が、1968年にリリースした唯一（翌年に解散）のアルバムです。カヴァー・アートからは、雑然とした”Psychedelic Rock”的な音が想像されますが、実際には、（この時代らしいファズ・ギターの音も聴こえてきますが、）ストリングスやブラス、シタールなどを配するなど様々に工夫を凝らして構築された”Psychedelic Pop”的な音が楽しめます。Violin の音が印象的な「Gypsy Wine」で始まり、サウンド・コラージュが施された「A Day」で締めくくられる、僅かに10曲・計27分23秒の作品です。付属のブックレット（2つ折・4頁）には、Bass ＆ Vo. 担当の Joe Arduino による簡便なバンド・ヒストリーが掲載されています。(GF-194)
