If The Neptunes have got the production side of things on lock, then surely it's OutKast who are the most innovative and daring rhymers in the hip-hop business right now. Whilst the first single from the new album, 'Ghetto Musick', is as invigorating as a cold lemonade bath and as frenetic/cool as anything they've done up to now (think 'Bombs Over Baghdad' but faster and more goddam funky), it's the sheer breadth of the 'Speakerboxx/Love...' set that leaves others standing. Essentially, Dre and Big Boi take one CD - of the double disc set ? each, giving each the space to express themselves fully whilst remaining faithful to the OutKast flag. And, yes, Dre features on Boi's disc and vice versa. Whilst there are those who may baulk at a hip-hop double album or whisper about a rift between the duo, it's the grace, power and downright style of 'Speakerboxx/The Love...' set that will silence all doubters. Permanently.

前半BIG BOIsideは、SPEAKERBOXXというテーマパーク。次から次へと息着く間もなく繰り出される刺激と驚きに満ちたアトラクションを満喫。そして後半ANDREsideのLOVE BELOWは、すんごいです。雑多な音楽性を丸ごと呑み込み包容し、まさに愛を導く天空の楽園を創造してしまいました。曲数、そのボリュームも含めて、まさに規格外、奇想天外な創造性に溢れたとんでもないアルバムです。

'03年発表｡全世界待望の本作はｿﾛをふたりぶんで2枚組｡もうそれだけで何か負けた気になるが､無論内容も圧巻の完全降伏ﾓﾉ｡P-FUNKの喧騒とｴﾚｸﾄﾛの退廃的ﾓｼﾞｭﾚｰｼｮﾝ､ｿｳﾙの肉感と電子音楽の自由を同時に感じさせる強烈なｺﾗｰｼﾞｭ作!!前例ﾅｼ故にﾋｯﾌﾟﾎｯﾌﾟ｡その部分では大真面目!!

ｼﾞｬｽﾞやﾌｧﾝｸを聴くようになった最近このアルバムの凄さが分かった特にアンドレ当初はヘイヤーしか聴いていなかったが実はそれ以外の曲がヤバイこの人の頭の中には小さな宇宙があるこのアルバムは10年代を代表するアルバムになるのは間違いない
