Otep の通算4作目の ﾌﾙｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ となった今作は、今までの作品より比較的聴きやすい楽曲で構成されている印象を受ける。時代の流れか、前作の“The Ascension”あたりから徐々に初期の ﾆｭｰ・ﾒﾀﾙ 色は薄れてきていたが、今作では、より ｴｸｽﾄﾘｰﾑ・ｻｳﾝﾄﾞ を聴かせてくれる。ﾀｲﾄﾙﾁｭｰﾝ の“Smash The Control Machine”は　ｷｬｯﾁｰ かつ ｴｸｽﾄﾘｰﾑ で、この ﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞ の成長を感じられる。そして、⑩の“Ur A Wmn Now”のような ﾋﾟｱﾉ を ﾌｨｰﾁｬｰ した静かな楽曲までやってのける幅広さもうかがえる。ｸｲｰﾝｽﾞﾎﾞｰｶﾘｽﾄ の　ｵｰﾃｯﾌﾟ・ｼｬﾏﾔ 率いる謎多きこの　ﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞ は確実に成長しています。

うーん。いまふたつくらいかもしれません。ブチ切れ具合は退化してますが、曲としては以前よりも「聴きやすくなった」と思います。しかしこのバンド、低音のカオス具合が上手いですね。粘着質な低音はかなりイイ出来だと思います。

1STや2NDが好きなファンはがっかり 3RDが好きなファンは最高! なアルバム レーベル移籍したから 初期のようにごりごりに 戻ってくれると思ってたのに,,, 全体の音も3RDからさらに軽くなり さらにシャマヤはおとなしくなり もはや普通のロックバンド ただ,お子様向けになったなので 知名度は上がるでしょうね笑 わたしはあの狂気に満ちていた初期のＯＴＥＰが好きです
