Playing what their singer Jason Pebworth calls simply - "two-guitar power-pop", or, equally simply, "rock and roll that girls can dance to", Orson have already clocked up a Number 1 single with their debut single, 'No Tomorrow', earlier in the year.

'Bright Idea', their debut album, consists of mostly songs about girls, about falling in or falling out of love. They form what is essentially a diary of Jason's own love life. "I torture myself over lyrics", he says. "Ultimately, the best stuff, the funniest lines, come out of the most heartbreaking times". With influences as far ranging as Queen and Led Zeppelin, to Radiohead, Flaming Lips and Elvis Costello, Orson's sound is not easy to pigeonhole, but is undeniably recognised as the kind of radio-friendly infectiousness that proved successful for Maroon 5.

確かにno tomorrowは素晴らしい曲だと思った。…が、それ以外にピンとくる曲があまりないのが残念。センスはあるので次作に期待します。

今年の新人の中では頭二つ分突き出ている！ヴォーカルはセクシーで上手い。（オペラやってたらしいので当たり前といえば当たり前）ギターはシンプルな音でシンプルなコード演奏を極めている。（２本のからみが良い）そしてなんといってもメロディ。no tomorrow（ここのレヴューではつづり間違えが多い）を筆頭に彼ら独特な感じの甘いメロディ、使いまわしが止められない！中毒性強し

なんだこのno tommorowのかっこよさは。。。ｐｖが更にかっこよすぎる。これは反則的だ。。ループして聞いても飽きない奇跡の曲。とりあえずｐｖはチェックでよろしく！！！
