他の方も言っておられるようにＯＭＤの最高傑作であり、また、メロトロン好きにとっての隠れた必聴盤である。更に、ボーナストラックの充実ぶりも特筆に価し、うち２曲でメロトロンが効果的に使用されている。

　美しさとダークさを兼ね備えたOMDの最高傑作。音作りが前作のエレクトリックな感じから、アコースティックな感じなのが印象的。３曲のTOP5ヒットを放ち、本作は最高位３位ながら英国でダブルプラチナを獲得する。
