Too Many Walls

'Too Many Walls' is the first recording by multi-instrumentalist, international pop star, and extraordinarily handsome and modest guy, Alysander Small (Starr Saunders Project, Nonsense, et al) under the monicker the Nondescript. Written and recorded largely extemporaneously over the course of several unusually rainy months and featuring Small performing on all instruments (with the patently asinine goal of using every piece of musical equipment available to him), Too Many Walls spans an eclectic stylistic range from melodic instrumentals (Hoxha, Camel Boy) to ambient soundscapes (Ghastly Ovipositor, Simulacra) to sludgy metal (Vagabonds). It is his least reactionary record to date.
