往年の名曲を現代風にアレンジしなおした、セルフカバー…ですが、基本的に楽曲自体は崩していないので、曲自体の魅力は損なわれていません。が、原曲に慣れ親しんだ耳には、何かかったるく聞こえてしまいます。やはり原曲には敵いません…というのが率直な意見です。

先日の来日公演では、グレイトホワイトのカバーやダムヤンキースのセルフカバーで盛り上がりをみせた彼らの正に正真正銘のセルフカバーアルバム代表曲群をたいしたアレンジも聴かせずにさらっと演奏してしまう彼らのセンスに脱帽
