ニール・ヤングが6月にリリースした『A Letter Home』に続く新作を早くもリリース。今年の1月にライブ・アルバム『Live At The Cellardoor』をリリースしているので、本作は今年3作目のリリースとなる。オリジナル・アルバムとしては2012年リリースの『Psychedelic Pill』以来のアルバムとなる。
作の特徴は、まずニール本人がソロで曲を録音し、その後同じ楽曲を92人編成のオーケストラとビッグ・バンドと一緒にライブ録音するというもの。2枚組のデラックス・ヴァージョンにはDISC1にソロ・セッティング、DISC2にその後レコーディングされたオーケストラとビッグバンドとの一発録りによるヴァージョンが収録。通常盤にはオーケストラとビッグバンドヴァージョンのみ収録となる。
