一部では1994年4月に自殺を遂げたカート・コバーンについて歌われた曲も含まれていると言われた前作『スリープス～』から一年にも満たない短いスパンで届けられた本作は1995年の発表。本作ではニルヴァーナなき後のアメリカ・オルタナを代表するパール・ジャムとの競演が実現している。プロデュースはパール・ジャムのプロデューサー、ブレンダン・オブライエン。中でもエディ・ヴェイダーが書いたという”ピース＆ラヴ”は見逃せない一曲。全体にリアリティのあるロック・アルバムに仕上がっている。
