ウィリアムズ・バロウズの名作「裸のランチ」からその名をとったマグワンプは、アンドリュー・ウェザーオールなどの DJ・サポートを得てこれまでに ＜R&S＞ や＜ジゴロ＞、＜コクーン＞、＜エンドレス・フライト＞などの名門レーベルからディスコやテクノといったクラブ・ミュージックをリリースし、2015
年にはファースト・アルバム「Unspell」をリリース。その後新たにメンバーを加えバンド編成となり2016 年に「Metempsycho EP」でマグワンプ本人がヴォーカルをとり現在のスタイルに。ダブ的アプローチの“Tediously”などクラブ・ミュージックの名残をスパイスにしながらもギター、ベース、ドラム、ヴォーカルというスタンダードな編成で送るストレートなロック・チューンも満載 !
