Prime 80s nostalgia in the fondly remembered and highly entertaining Footloose, starring a very young looking Kevin Bacon as the dancing big city boy who ends up in small town America. Moving with his mum into a sleepy backwater town is a real culture shock to Ren (Bacon, in his career defining role). Used to the bright lights he now has to settle for a town filled with would-be cowboys, even worse music and dancing are banned by the local Reverend (John Lithgow, who delivers a great over the top performance). Determined to teach these locals how to party Ren sets out to put on a dance, but will he manage to over come the local bullies, police and even the Reverend?
