The true story of an FBI undercover agent who becomes Donnie Brasco, 'The Jewel Man' to infiltrate one of the mob families. Donnie manouvres his way into the confidence of ageing hitman, Lefty Ruggiero who trusts Donnie and vouches for him to the mob. But Lefty and Donnie becomes friends when they should become enemies. アルパチーノ、ジョニーデップ共に、とても...

アルパチーノ、ジョニーデップ共に、とても名演技で素晴らしかった。実際の話しを元にした作品だから余計にドキドキして引込まれた。ドニーに自分の夢をかけたり、最後まで彼を愛しているレフティを演じるアルパチーノが切なくて愛すべき奴だなと思った。

約１０年前に原題「Donnie Brasco」を見たときに、ジョニー・デップとアル・パチーノの熱演に感動しました。国内版のDVDがなかなか手に入らず、今回やっと再発売されることになり、とてもうれしいです。今はすっかり大スターになってしまったジョニー・デップですが、いまでもこの映画が、ジョニーデップ映画の最高傑作だと思っています。
