1973年春に４週間にわたって行われたモンティ・パイソンの＜Monty Python’s First Farewell Tour＞の最終日＝ロンドンのドルリー・レーン公演の模様を記録したライヴ・アルバム。グレアム・チャップマン、ジョン・クリーズ、エリック・アイドル、テリー・ジョーンズ、テリー・ギリアム、マイケル・ペイリンの本メンバー６人に、サポート・アクトレスのリン・アシュレイ、そしてボンゾ・ドッグ・ドゥー・ダー・バンドのニール・イネスが出演し、「Nudge, Nudge」や「The Argument Clinic」等の人気エピソードを生で披露。BBCのテレビ放送では検閲により過激なセリフやギャグがカット/変更させられていたモンティ・パイソンだったが、本作リリース元のクリサリス・レーベルのトニー・ストラットン-スミス社長は内容を一切規制しなかったため、彼らが本来欲した内容がここに記録されることになった。
