Consisting of Chris Will (vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards, banjo, mandolin), Randy Von Moll (bass, vocals), Geoff Woertz (guitar, keyboards), Tim Ramos (vocals, congas, percussion, acoustic guitar), and Jim Murphy (drums, vocals), Mojo Rizin comes out of Cincinnati. They're ready for the rock and roll world, in my opinion, because they seem to have mastered the fun, arena rock sound, kind of like a tamer version of Van Halen. The band has released two separate albums: Keep On Rizin and Brass Pole. What I like about Mojo Rizin is that they don't shy away from the heavy rock. With solos that melt faces and drum beats that will crack your bones, Mojo Rizin is a force of nature, and I'm not sure if anyone can hold them back any longer. These guys seem to be going somewhere, and I wouldn't be surprised if they received a record deal soon. I can dream, right? The Mojo Rizin song Run For Your Life is an excellent, intense rock song with killer guitar, steady drums, and powerful vocals. The lyrics are hauntingly sung, and they are filled with raw emotion. The bass does a sweet job of keeping a steady rhythm. The ballad Lay It On The Line is a slower song, but you still cannot help but bang your head. The harmonies within Lay It On The Line are probably my favorite part because they really illustrate the gravity and emotion of the lyrics. This band really knows how to have a great time and rock out, so do not miss out.' Mojo Rizin is: Chris Will Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards, Banjo, Mandolin Chris started rockin early with the influence of his brother, Grammy nominated Producer, Engineer, Mixer Rick Will. Growing up listening to all flavors of music, Chris taught himself guitar and played in various bands including Bad JuJu in Detroit. Chris formed Mojo Rizin with his life long friend Tim Ramos which led to the release of Mojo Rizin's first two records, Keep On Rizin' and Brass Pole. Chris' guitar playing and songwriting is the driving force behind the Mojo Rizin sound. Tim Ramos Vocals, Congas, Percussion, Acoustic Guitar Tim started rockin early with the influence of his brother Dave Ramos, an accomplished student of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, who formed Cincinnati's Midnight On Vine, and is currently the Bassist for Blessid Union Of Souls. Growing up listening to a variety of music as well, Tim started by teaching himself guitar, and then moved on to Bass, Drums, and Percussion. Tim's passion for music is enormous, which is evident in the energy of his live performance. Tim puts the Mojo in the Mojo Rizin'. Jim Murphy Drums, Vocals Jim was born In New York and raised in Cincinnati, Jim has 20 years of live experience playing with bands like The Imaginary Blues Band, Pubdog and Mike Sizemore. Jim comes from the school of John Bonham with hard driving beats and style giving Mojo Rizin the power and groove it's known for. A must see live!!!! Randy Von Moll Bass, Vocals Randy has been rockin' the bass for over 30 years playing in numerous bands in the Cincinnati area. Randy's passion for rock and for music is evident in live stage performances. Randy developed his hard driving thunder bass style during his years in the regional touring band Pyramid. Randy's earliest and continued motivation in bass guitar mastery are Jack Bruce, Chris Squire, and Geddy Lee, among many others. Geoff Woertz Guitar, Keyboards Geoff has been rockin' on guitar for 20 years playing in various bands in Cincinnati including the Indie original band Mind Throttle. G
