考え貫かれた構成。そしてクールで知性を感じさせる演奏。クラシックにも精通するジョン・ルイスの随所に見られるバロック的なセンスもまたよし。熱くハードなJAZZも良いが、この作品のように室内楽を聴いているような心地の良いJAZZもアリでしょ！
